Communities - Climate

The county's moderate climate is one of its major attractions. Winters are generally mild. The maximum temperature is below freezing only about 18 days a year and rarely exceed 90 degrees in summer. The seasons are distinct with spectacular foliage in the spring and autumn, and lush green summers. Precipitation is well distributed throughout the year with about 15 inches of snowfall annually.
